Hamburg. O8K -orange ate kid, schafft eine Musik, die sich nicht so leicht einordnen lässt, aber überzeugt. Die Band wagt Sprünge zwischen funkigen Rhythmus-Parts und harten Breakdowns, filigrane Gitarren-Melodien wechseln sich mit Passagen, die zum Headbangen einladen und prägnante Clean-Vocals münden in brachialen Shouts.
Es gelingt O8K durch ihr Gefühl für den richtigen Sound die Synthese zwischen Rock, Post-Hardcore und Alternative und macht sie zu einer Band, die sowohl live als auf Tape überzeugt.
Wer keine Lust mehr auf 08/15 Rock oder Einheitsbrei aus dem Radio hat, dem sei O8K wärmstens empfohlen.
