meteocontrol strengthens its partnership with 3megawatt

Augsburg/Chicago/Munich, October 20, 2015 - meteocontrol GmbH, a PV service provider for monitoring, and 3megawatt GmbH, a solar asset management software provider, plan to intensify their working relationship in the future. The partnership will focus on developing an all-in-one full featured solution to manage large photovoltaic system portfolios. Both companies will create a seamless interface of their platforms, which will offer their clients a complete end-to-end solution.

Joint clients are already benefiting from the automated import of plant data from meteocontrol's monitoring system into the 3megawatt's asset management platform BluePoint. "This data integration offers great advantages for our clients," said Edmee Kelsey, CEO of 3megawatt. "One of the advantages is that clients are able to automatically create energy invoices using solar industry best practice workflows and to verify time of day utility or export PPA statements using "shadow billing"." This is a big time saver, which enables clients to operate large portfolios much more efficiently and cost effectively.
