Meru Networks supplies wireless LAN solution designed for high density and capacity to the Microsoft Germany stand at CeBIT 2013

Munich, 11 February 2013 - Meru Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ:MERU), a leader in virtualized wireless LAN solutions, today announced that it has been selected to deploy a virtualized wireless network for the main tradeshow booth of Microsoft Germany (Halle 4, Stand A26) during the international IT tradeshow CeBIT 2013 from March 5th to 9th in Hannover, Germany.
Meru Networks has been working closely with its partner, M.S. IT-Services GmbH, a company of the URANO-Group, to design and plan the high performance WLAN network. The WLAN network in the Microsoft booth will feature Meru"s high performance access points as well as redundant network controllers. The network has been designed and conceived for high density and high RF inteference of the type found in abundance at premier global IT conferences such as CeBIT, and is designed to provide access for 600 clients simultaneously.
In order to provide Microsoft employees working in the booth, partners and their guests with high performance wireless connectivity at CeBIT 2013, Microsoft Germany called upon the professional assistance of Meru Networks und M.S. IT-Services GmbH. M.S. IT-Services GmbH has been selected to supply the entire IT-infrastructure for the Microsoft stand.
Staff working at the stand and visitors to the Microsoft booth will have easy access to the wireless LAN network for their smartphones, tablets and notebooks. In addition, Internet enabled TVs and Microsoft Xbox systems will be wirelessly connected. M.S. IT-Services plans to install 60 Meru Networks AP332e Access Points, which will be managed by two redundant MC4200 controllers. Meru EzRF WLAN management software is being deployed to simplify the management and monitoring of the network. In order to provide the necessary capacity for all of the different devices at the Microsoft stand, Meru will implement its unique channel layering architecture using the 2.4 and 5 GHZ bands. Six SSID"s for the different areas of the stand and the VIP area will be set up for the show.
