(NL/8571227486) April 2013 On April 1, Bastian Deck took over as General Manager from Johannes Pfeffer, who had led Hirschmann MCS since November 2009. Pfeffer has assumed a more senior position within the business unit Industrial IT Solutions of the Belden Group.

After completing a Diplom-Wirtschaftsingenieur degree (equivalent to a masters degree in engineering management) in 2002, Bastian Deck first worked as senior consultant and manager at two management consultancies. After serving as the COO at a financial services provider, in late 2010 he joined Hirschmann as its Director of Finance & IT. Consequently, the new general manager is already intimately acquainted with the companys business processes. Deck is looking forward to his new challenges and has clear ideas of what customers are likely to expect of Hirschmann MCS in the years ahead: More product innovations, a consistently high standard of quality, and above all an even more energetic focus on meeting our customers and partners needs and expectations.
