For several months now, "Don"t Gimme That" by The BossHoss has been a permanent feature on the playlists of German radio stations and further afield. The Berlin country rock band"s single numbered among the top ten in the German charts for weeks; in Austria it even reached the top spot. On 1 December 2012, The BossHoss will star as the leading act at Obertauern"s official season opening. "Don"t Gimme That" will be one of their numbers, of course, although its actual message will be the opposite: Yes, Gimme That! Gimme winter in Austria"s "Snowbowl"!

Founded in 2004, The BossHoss was pretty much an insider tip until a year ago, despite logging up hundreds of concerts on the tour circuit every year. Within the space of eight years, the band, headed by Boss Burns and Hoss Power, has brought out singles and albums that have sold in excess of 100,000 CDs, has recorded film music and performed at the major rock festivals. The country rockers" real breakthrough song, however, was "Don"t Gimme That". The 2012 Liberty of Action Tour is regularly sold out - and is bringing the BossHoss to Obertauern, where they will be performing their new single "Live it up".
